On the 25th of November the Museon in The Hague hosted the symposium ‘Shared Caribbean heritage; shared future?’ (Gedeeld Caribisch erfgoed; gedeelde toekomst?). Corinne Hofman (KITLV), Tibisay Sankatsing Nava (KITLV), and partners Suzy Boekhoudt (NAMA) and Fred van Keulen (SECAR) discussed their work in the Caribbean.

At this moment the Museum also hosts the exhibition ‘Caribbean Ties‘, which was co-created by Tibisay. ‘Caribbean Ties’ tells the untold story of the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean and their lives before, during and after European colonisation.
