This two-day multilingual interdisciplinary virtual workshop aims at building the foundation for a community of Caribbean experts in archaeology, museology and related disciplines, indigenous leaders and governmental agencies.
The workshop will address the relevance of a local-based connection for mutual aid where communities, archaeologists, and heritage practitioners can share their skills and expertise to assist one another in short- and long-term collaborations, build an environment of resilience, and provide first aid for archaeological heritage in times of emergency (like natural disasters).
Organized by: Katarina Jacobson, Joseph Sony Jean (KITLV) & Eduardo Herrera Malatesta
