On 11 November at 4.30 PM, Ward Berenschot will deliver an inaugural lecture on the occasion of his appointment as Professor of Comparative Political Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. With this lecture titled ‘The informality trap: Democracy against governance in Asia’, Berenschot will reflect on the research he has conducted over the last 15 years, and look ahead.
