(Only in Dutch) A new article by Wouter Veenendaal in the Antilliaans Dagblad: ‘Groeiende onvrede met nieuwe status’. Veenendaal (1986) is a postdoctoral researcher at KITLV working as part of the NWO-funded research project ‘Confronting Caribbean Challenges’. His research project focuses on the impact of the new municipal status of the smallest Dutch Caribbean islands on the opinions and behavior of local citizens, public servants, and politicians. The project also draws comparisons with larger Dutch Caribbean islands and other non-sovereign island jurisdictions in the Caribbean and elsewhere.
