Prio Sambodho is a PhD Candidate at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research. He is part of a project called ‘From Clients to Citizens? Emerging Citizenship in Democratising Indonesia’, a collaboration between KITLV, Universitas Gadjah Madah, the University of Amsterdam, and Leiden University which is funded by the Dutch and Indonesian Governments.
