The first five Dutch publications resulting from the research programme, Over de grens, Sporen van betekenis, Een kwaad geweten, Van Rij en Stam and Diplomatie en geweld, are now available to read for free (open access). The English translation of Over de grens, Beyond the Pale, is also available. You can read the books online or download them as PDFs via the links. To do so, click on the ‘download on open access platform’ button on the book’s page.

The other books will also be available for free via open access after publication. Keep an eye on the Amsterdam University Press website for the publication dates and links to the open access books. The books will also remain available as printed versions.
