Your privacy is very important to KITLV and your personal information will be treated conform the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). KITLV will not save any personal information without your permission or share this information with third parties. You are entitled to check, change or remove this information.
The KITLV / Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies is one of the institutes of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences (KNAW) and follows the privacy policy of the KNAW. In the KNAW privacy statement you can read which personal data we collect, how these are processed and for what purpose.

The KNAW is aware of its responsibility when processing personal data. The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) wants every person whose personal data is processed by her to trust that this is done in a careful and lawful manner. The KNAW processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and the resulting privacy rules.
