The KITLV in Leiden invites applications for a PhD candidate (0,84 – 1,0 FTE), starting date February 1, 2023. The subject of this PhD project is: ‘How and whom are we healing? The colonial built environment, affect, body and healing’.

The PhD is part of a broad research project of NWO (Dutch Research Council) in the Dutch Research Agenda: ‘Re/Presenting Europe: Popular Representations of Diversity and Belonging.’ This project is a collaboration between several universities and societal and grassroot organizations in the Netherlands, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
